TRAVEL PLANNER ONLY REGISTRATION SAVINGS!

 

 

Travel planners are offered substantial registration discounts to ETC. By selecting the travel planner registration category, you confirm that your organization operates an alumni or member/affinity-based travel program, and contracts with tour operators and suppliers to operate at least 50% of your travel programs. Your registration fees include daily refreshments, most meals and special events. If you register for the full conference there is no additional fee to attend the one day Donor Travel, Alumni Travel, or Executive Forums.

A free tabletop space in the International Bazaar will be available for Travel Planners who wish to share their own alumni/member travel brochures.

 

Healthy lunches and salads are offered by the hotel to allow ETC participants the convenience of taking lunch to midday sessions. Lunches are offered for the same inclusive cost as those provided in the hotel's deli. The hotel requires advance confirmation and pre-payment in order. Be sure to select lunch options if you want to be able to enjoy lunch during the major midday session blocks on both Feb. 19th and 20th!

  • Three Day Conference Program, February 19 - 21 (3 pm), 2009.
  • Daily refreshments, most meals and evening events, if selected, on the registration form.
  • Official On Site Conference Resource Directory (CRD) including abbreviated attendee contact information and organizational profiles.
  • Official Conference Program including speaker handouts and resource papers.
  • One-year Conference level membership and password access to the online Educational Travel Community:
    • Online Community Resource Directory with extensive profiles on all organizations and travel programs (available only to delegates having completed their organizational profile.)
    • Online access to ETC Library resources to include publications and speaker information and papers and store (for CDs of presentations and online Jumpstart training course.)
    • Posting of online job listings and Community service announcements.
    • Online networking resources and travel planner listservs.

Do you wish to sell your programs to travel planners at ETC?

 

If your university or museum is advertising, selling or wholesaling your travel offerings to other non profit organizations and travel planners, you need to register your organization for a tabletop display space @ $375.

Pre Conference Seminars, February 18, 2009

This year ETC is offering 5 choices for pre-conference seminars.

TRAVEL PLANNER JUMPSTART TRAINING: The Nuts and Bolts of Nonprofit Travel @ 195 (if attending full Conference; $325 if not attending Conference). Includes deli lunch, refreshments and Jumpstart Training Manual.

VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE: Giving Back to New Orleans: An all hands on deck opportunity to volunteer @ $80 (full day) Choose Hands on the Land, or Hands on a Home. Both include facilitators, lunch and transportation and $25 donation to project.
If family members or friends are interested in volunteering and/or extending their service beyond one day, please find more information here.

SEMINAR ON WHEELS: Water & Culture of New Orleans @ $135, or Historic Plantations @ $150. Both include specialist lecturers/guides, lunch, transportation, guides, entrance fees, refreshments.

Additional Educational Seminar, February 20, 2009

EXECUTIVE FORUM - 8:00am - 4:30pm Feb 20th. No cost if attending full conference, $195 per person for one day only registration. Includes seminar materials, breakfast, refreshments, lunch and afternoon reception. Open only to Senior Executives to whom travel planners report.

All payments received after January 15th, 2009 will be considered late registrations. Late registrants will have their contact information published in the on site Late Registrant list, as they will have missed the printing deadline for the CRD as of January 15th, 2009. Profiles for late registrants will be displayed only in the online CRD post conference.

 

 

WORK/STUDY

top

 

 

A limited number of reduced registration fees for work/study opportunities are available to travel planners from small-scale programs (10 or fewer tours per year). This is an excellent opportunity for travel programs with limited budgets to attend the conference for a reduced fee. Please direct inquiries to speaker@travelearning.com
