Front Row Location for Desktop Display in International Bazaar: Option provided to US Tour Operators only, on a first come, first serve basis. Limited upgrades available. $495 | | | To preserve a balanced ratio of Travel Planners (TP) to Tour Operators, Suppliers and Destinations (DOS), DOS registration is limited to two persons per company, and is confirmed on a space available basis! Sponsoring partners have the benefit of registering a third person from their organization as a benefit of partnership. | | | Healthy lunches and salads are offered by the hotel to allow ETC participants the convenience of taking lunch to midday sessions. Lunches are offered for the same inclusive cost as those provided in the hotel's deli. The hotel requires advance confirmation and pre-payment in order to prepare these lunches. ETC Conference staff will unpack and setup your display materials in the International Bazaar and provide your corporate signage for on site display. You will have to provide the hotel with your credit card to pay for hotel shipping/handling of your incoming boxes. ETC Post-conference documentation will be shipped to your US location at no charge. If family members or friends are interested in volunteering and/or extending their service beyond one day, please find more information here. SEMINAR ON WHEELS: Water & Culture of New Orleans @ $135, or Historic Plantations @ $150. Both include specialist lecturers/guides, lunch, transportation, guides, entrance fees, refreshments. | | International Bazaar (Exhibit Hall) Location Choices | top | | On Wednesday, February 18th, the International Bazaar will be available for sponsoring partner setup at 8:30 am, and general exhibitor setup at 11:30 through 3:30 pm. All desktop displays must be setup by 4 pm. | Each organization will be showcased in a specific location within the International Bazaar (exhibit area) with an assigned desktop display area including corporate signage, tabletop area, tablecloth and two chairs. During registration you will be asked to select one of the following location areas: - US Based Tour Operator - U.S. owned Tour Operator with a main office and company based in the U.S. will be showcased in the US Tour Operators only section.
- Foreign (Non US-based) Tour Operators, Travel Suppliers and Destinations - organization is either a foreign/inbound tour operator, supplier, or destination with main office and corporation based outside the US. These organizations are showcased in one of six regions; Asia, Middle East/Africa, South Pacific and Australia, Europe, Americas, Global.
- Travel-Related Services - Organization providing travel-related services to travel planners and/or tour operators such as insurance, database marketing, etc. will be showcased in the Travel-related services section.
The order of display tabletops within the US Tour Operator section of the International Bazaar are no longer assigned by alphabet, but rather by date of receipt of registration payment at the offices of TLC. Guaranteed front row positioning for US tour operators is available with purchase of a location upgrade option. | | High Speed Wireless Internet Access in the International Bazaar | top | | High speed wireless Internet access in the International Bazaar is available for $150 (requires a battery operated computer with wireless card) plus applicable taxes for a three day period Feb. 19-21, 2009. Access codes will be given upon arrival. This service is available to ETC at this discounted price only if 20 or more attendees purchase it.
